Anthropologist and pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Barcelona (UB), I have been working on my doctoral thesis since 2020 on the processes of revision of heritage from colonial origin in the museum field. I am a member of the (Tr)african(t)s team and my work is focused on the study of the African collection of the Museum of Ethnology and World Cultures (MuEC). Recently, I have been able to participate in projects and publications linked to the field of historical reparations and colonial memory in the Catalan and Spanish context.
In the field of popular culture and ethnological heritage studies, I am a co-founding member of the working group Cultura Popular i Conflicte, where I have had the opportunity to collaborate in projects on memory, popular festivities and heritagization processes. I also developed and collaborated in investigations for the study and recovery of historical memory. Since 2018, I am a member of the UB’s Research Group on Social Exclusion and Control (GRECS).
