I am twenty-two years old and I am a graduate Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Barcelona. I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Ethnography at the same university. In anthropology, my interests have focused mainly on the fields of memory and identity. Along these lines, my first research focused on the analysis of the processes and strategies through which Ecuadorian diasporic communities living in Barcelona activate collective memory and construct and negotiate their identity.
