I am an architect graduated from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and a Master of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. My research focuses on the interrelationship between architecture, lived space, and memory, mainly in Equatorial Guinea. I taught at La Salle School of Architecture (URL) and at the Elisava Barcelona School of Design (UPF). I have more than twenty years of experience in the development of architectural projects in Catalonia and Equatorial Guinea, where I also worked in urban planning.
In the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, I headed projects for the rehabilitation of heritage, facilities, and public space. In 2009, I founded Patrimonio Guinea, a project that integrates research and dissemination strategies for Equatoguinean heritage. I have also been a member of the research group GAMUC, which focuses on the architecture and urbanism of the former Spanish colonies in Africa, and of the collective research project España Negra.
