Born in Barcelona in 1984, I hold a degree in History and a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Barcelona. Currently, I have a postdoctoral contract at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I was a researcher and lecturer at the University of Leipzig (2018-2022), at the Autonomous University of Madrid (2022-2024), and a visiting researcher at the universities of Hofstra (New York), Liverpool and Manchester.
Interested in the everyday dimension of political economy, I studied procurement systems and markets in Equatorial Guinea, where I have carried out several research projects since 2007. The results of my research have been published in international journals such as the Journal of African Archaeology, Visual Anthropology, Oxford Research Encyclopaedia, Research in Economic Anthropology, and the Journal of Contemporary African Studies.
