Between the 18th and the 26th of February, the (Tr)african(t)s team, Alberto López Bargados and Celeste Muñoz Martínez, travelled to Morocco (Rabat, Tétouan, Al Hoceima, Nador, Melilla) with the aim of sharing the project and its partial results with different local institutions. Throughout this trip, meetings were arranged with Rif Amazigh associations in Rabat and Al Hoceima to inform them about the heritage of this region kept in Catalan museums such as the Museum of Ethnology and World Cultures (MuEC), or the Leather Museum in Igualada. Additionally, meetings were held with Moroccan institutions that manage the country’s material heritage—including the Archaeological Museum of Tétouan and the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tétouan—with the objective of facilitating joint collaborative work. Finally, throughout the trip, some key spaces in the construction of the collections under study were documented, thus supporting the analysis of the traceability of the pieces or photographs. This was achieved through interviews with local specialists or historians who provided information on the context in which the collections were obtained. +info: National Museum Foundation of the Kingdom of Morocco
